The raised stage area at the Bowls Club end of the Urban park is becoming more used, but we would like to see it used more..
The commemoration of World War 1 in 1919 saw just how the area can be used. Since then it has been used for our annual remembrance Services, to house the Fairfield Christmas Tree last year and, most recently, for the celebrations of the Queens Platinum Jubilee when the Parish Council held a torchlight procession and then joined in the nations beacon lighting event.
Full electrics have been added to both areas allowing small productions to have both lights and sounds.
But school plays, band concerts and small theatrical productions would be great to see, and we are sure will prove popular with most.
If you have an idea of an event that could use the area then please email us at feedback@fairfield-park.com.
