The raised stage area at the Bowls Club end of the Urban park also needs to see more use.
The commemoration of World War 1 saw just how the area can be used. It will be used again for commemoration on Remembrance Sunday in November when the annual service will move from the Community Hall to the Urban Park – an event where safe distancing at whatever level can be easily accomomodated.
We are also working with the Fairfield Parish Council to resurrect the Christmas Carol Service around the tree.
Full electrics have been added to both areas allowing small productions to have both lights and sounds.
But school plays, band concerts and small theatrical productions would be great to see, and we are sure will prove popular with most.
If you have an idea of an event that could use the area then please email us at [email protected].
