The only consideration of all of us is that all children and adults that use the play areas on Fairfield remain safe.
Fairfield recently moving into Tier 2 and then last weekend, 20 December, into Tier 4, despite this the advice of the government has been to keep outdoor play areas open for the purposes of exercise.
The FPRA has taken the decision to keep the play areas open. However this is dependent on ALL users following the current advice:-
-
1) HANDS – please ensure you clean your hands and wipe down play equipment before and after use!
-
2) FACE – adults/carers NEED to wear masks – we can’t rely on our younger children to keep 2m apart which can compromise our personal attempts to maintain an appropriate 2m social distance therefore WEAR A MASK!
-
3) SPACE – keep 2m apart at all times and try to keep you little ones at that distance as well
If these rules can not be adhered to we will be FORCED to take the decision to CLOSE the parks to keep our community safe.
